The preservation and protection of good health for the public benefit in the areas of stroke and stroke rehabilitation in particular but not exclusively by:
- The provision of grants, bursaries, scholarships and prizes to post graduate students within the division of rehabilitation and ageing in the school of medicine at the University of Nottingham, enabling the advancement of stroke research.
- The provision of funding to promote, sustain and increase individual and collective knowledge and understanding in carrying out academic research into stroke medicine and stroke rehabilitation for the public benefit.
- Publishing the useful results of such research.
