To Advance Education for the Public Benefit: -
- To provide stipends; grants, bursaries, scholarships, and prizes etc. to enable post graduate students to advance their knowledge and skills in order to qualify for the higher level degree of Doctorates, awarded by the University and to be studying within the Division of Rehabilitation and Ageing in the School of Medicine at the University of Nottingham, enabling the advancement of Stroke Research for the public benefit.
- To provide funding to promote, sustain and increase individual and collective knowledge and understanding in carrying out academic research into Stroke Medicine and Stroke Rehabilitation at the University of Nottingham and other places of higher education, for the public benefit.
- To provide funding for any purpose found necessary to support and benefit the outcomes listed in paragraphs 1 & 2 above for the public benefit.
- To provide information to academia, the public at large and particularly those people affected directly by stroke, in publishing the outcomes obtained relative to paragraphs 1 & 2 above, in written form and on the charity’s web site www. ossienewellfoundation.co.uk
